Born at Mavriki, Arkadia, 1961. First degree & Ph . D . in Pedagogy, Dept . of Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology, Ioannina Univ. Associate Councillor, the Pedagogical Institute, Feb. 2000 - Jan. 2003. Lecturer in Pedagogy, Dept. of History, Ionian Univ. , since 2003, now Professor.

Research interests: (a) aspects of educational policy; (b) teaching methodology with special reference to language teaching and evaluation of pupils' performance; and (c) history of education.

Author of: (a) Modern Greek textbooks for Technical and Vocational Schools, 1998; (b) pedagogical publications, some titles being Διαθεματικές προσεγγίσεις της γνώσης στο ελληνικό σχολείο [ Cross-thematic approaches to knowledge in the Greek School], 2003, and Η Διαθεματικότητα στο σύγχρονο σχολείο και η διδασκαλία της Ιστορίας με τη χρήση πηγών [Cross-thematicity in contemporary schools and the teaching of History through the use of sources], 2003.His articles have also appeared in Greek and foreign educational journals.
